Why do I see a lot of racer guys wearing full fingered gloves in the summer?
I'm probably not yet a racer-guy, but I switched to full fingered gloves this summer because sweaty fingers => sticky bars and slippery shift paddles. They are not less comfortable, and probably offer a tiny bit more protection in a crash as well.
