I forget the technical name for the James Bondish spikes on either side of the wheels. Maybe I misunderstand the difference between stragety and strategy though. Actually though working on a sprinters tuck and doing some work to condition fast twitch muscles in your legs would seem sensible. I am hoping you have struck upon the correlation between them starting in a harder gear allowing an optimum ending cadence without any hesitations switching gears during the ramp up and your tailing off nine tenth of the way. The road bike and potentially a second kick near the finish line could be the ticket to snaking a win.
