It doesn't need them. Old Suntour Pro Comp freewheel body with inner cogs splined outer cogs threaded. The only problem is he'll never be able to remove that cog if he wants to. I did something similar in my conversion of an early 1970s Mercier 100, except I have a second splined cog on the inside of the freewheel body for the sole purpose of permitting removal of the threaded cog to permit changes in gearing.
