Did anyone else notice an odd odor the first dry day after all the rains? Rich, earthy smoky smell. Not woodfire smoke, but more of a chipotle pepper kind of smokiness. Perhaps something is blooming ... or rotting?
Hey! Very, very cool observation! I did notice and I bet you're right; drying out wood rot. Duck, tattooed poultry and smoky air are fantastic Metrowest finds.
