Rockland County NY - Sept 18th C&V Cruise
When: Sept. 18
Where: Leaving from Spring Valley, NY (meeting point to be determined)
What: 20 mile scenic C&V Ride
Sailorbenjamin, myself and Noglider are getting together a 20ish mile loop starting in Spring Valley and heading through the backroads of Rockland County.
The initial idea for this ride was to ride a pack of Raleigh Super Courses and do some bike swapping along the way. But hey, the more the merrier...you don't need a Super Course...just come on up to Spring Valley September 18th (thats a saturday) if you want to head for a cruise.
It should take no more than 2 - 2.5 hours, and the weather has been wonderful and leafs will be starting to turn....this isn't gonna be a 17mph+ club ride or anything crazy. A 3 speed would probably suffice.
There's a lot of apple orchards out that way, if there's interest we could make the route swing by an orchard.
sailorbenjamin is familiar with the starting area, so I'll defer to him to suggest a starting point.
