Being in the land down under, you'll likely have to pay an arm and leg for shipping from a shop from the US or even the EU.
Inventory and website. I'd like to browse and see what's available in the USA. My past experience on non-cycling retail is that there are a lot more interesting things available in the USA. Also frequently I can import an item cheaper than I can buy it here (if I can buy it here). For some reason stuff can be very cheap in the USA. I was there is 1992 and recall buying about $12 worth of stuff at Auto-zone that would have cost me $100 in Australia. I have no idea why this is.

For example:- bottom of the range bike helmet in Australia cost $80. Weight is about 2 ozs? I could get a good one shipped out by USPS. Never even seen a Bell helmet in shops here.
