ultegra or dura ace hubs - 9 or 10 spd
cheap/reliable 700c wheelset (for 9 speed). older 8 speed is fine, just need to be reasonably true, spin nice. ideally you'd be near Manhattan for local pickup since shipping wheels is a pain. older 600 / 105 w/mavic rims would be good. lots of other options would work.
