Cheap Weinman rims with 126mm spacing.I didn't want to stretch the frame with more modern wheels so I found these.Immediately the spokes started to break so I had them relaced(rear) with stainless steel champion spokes and all seems well so far about 30 miles of riding.I am less than thrilled with the mechanic who rebuilt the wheel as when I came to pick up the bikes the wheel s were not true and when I pointed it out he said the rims are cheap.I know the rims are cheap.So what.He re trued the wheel.I just bought some Mavic rims on line for the future.
