Forget trying to get a bike on the train on peak time. Won't happen. I had to sit for over 6 hours at South Station to get the 7:15 to Worcester. Got to Worcester at 9:30 in the rain. The last off peak to Worcester was at about 12:30 and due to the Ptown ferry getting late, I missed the train by 10 min. Conductors and other train management had no sympathy evren though the next train was almost empty leaving the station
