If the bar height is comfortable , then its fine... style is for selling clothes.
mechanics is about what works.

Use the space.. I use the extra height to place my handle bar bag mount on the lower of 2 stems.
that gives me a better bag location, add a spacer mounted bell to the steerer tube , a 'Wise Cracker' bottle opener..
another use for a second stem with a bar in it is to mount lights and computer and all the other electronic stuff that have become touring 'necessities' GPS etc..
at the bottom of the stack I have a pinch bolt 'locking spacer' [QBP] it holds the fork in while Im fussing around with all the other stuff I'm attaching to the column aboveit ..
