You are correct, I had the BBT-2, but there was a change in the later version of the BBT-2 to accommodate the larger diameter spindles. There was a "running change". I actually found the email from April 2007 from Park Tool:


"The newer BBT-2 are deeper and have a bigger inside diameter, it was running change. The BBT-22 also would work."
