I got some of these when I lived in Denmark:
http://www.earbags.com They're great! My right ear is especially sensitive to cold and the extra wind from riding exacerbates it. During the winter, I wear these under a knit hat.
They basically snap onto your ear, kind of like a snap bracelet. If you wear them for a few hours, your ears might get sore, though.
