I bought these Maxxis Detonator at the beginning of summer and probably put 1000 miles on them. I know they are low budget tires, but there is plenty of tread life still. I was taking them off to rotate and noticed this:
It is happening on both tires and multiple places/both sides around each tire. I've enjoyed the grip and toughness (they look dinged and sliced pretty good all around but only one flat all summer), but I'm pretty disappointed they won't live out their tread life. Any other Detonator owners experience similar problems?
