The road position takes some getting used to, whether you have a good fit or not. That makes things harder in your position ... my first road bike had cross brakes, which helped a lot.

Whether this bike will fit you well or not depends how long your arms and legs are; some people your height are orang utans, and others are t-rex. That's why you can't trust any definitive advice about this, unless you get the tape measure out. For what it's worth, I'm 6'1" with long legs, on a 58 cm Cervelo. I could benefit from the next size up, but this works.

Will they let you take the bike for a long test ride? If you tell them you're interested, but not sure about the fit, then leave your ID, it's pretty reasonable.

If you get the bike, you'll wind up with a lot of seat post showing, and possibly buying a stem ( $30 - LBS might swap it out on the house ) to get more reach.
