I hope I'm not coming off as "women are mean and nasty in a divorce". Obviously at the end of some unions, a mutual agreement can be made to end it civily. Other times, the man or woman feels they "owe" the other the hell they put them through. Still other times, both put each other through hell.

It all depends on the people involved. I would chastise any guy for taking advantage of the situation if the roles were reversed in the OP's highlighted auction. I'm taking this on the chin, but I could see the hurricane coming and acted accordingly. Life goes on - said life not necessarily validated by whom we are with, but in the way we conduct it. I'm trying my hardest not to get personal in this, and certainly not looking to get anything out of it other than peace of mind and a clean feeling in the end. Honestly, I feel better about attaining that peace of mind with every passing day. I'll be fine - thanks for all the kind words
