Good deal! Nice bike and you got an even better deal than expected.

When you flip the bars, if you think you want a lower handlebar position, you would have to remove the stem from both sides, flip it over and reattach it. This would get you a little more stretched out, both lower by maybe 1.5 - 2" and farther by maybe .5". If you decide that you want to try it, make sure that when you reattach the fork side that you properly load the headset (similar to most MTBs). Also be mindful not to overtorque the bolts as you can easily strip a thread. If you've never done this before you might want to seek help from a friend or a bike shop.
