My '06 Madone showed some signs of bottom bracket failure, so I had our own BikeWise1 take a look. He pulled the BB to check, quick email to Trek, and 2 weeks later I'm on a new 6 series SSL. Huge THANKS to BikeWise1 for making it happen, our Trek rep, and Trek for stepping up to the plate and giving me the opportunity to ride this AWESOME machine! Dropped about 14 oz off my '06, ride is almost plush compared to the '06, and power delivery seems to be instant! Paint appears to be a tinted clear with silver and platinum graphics. There was a modest upcharge that seemed very fair, and turn around was amazing! I know Trek is an easy target on the forums, but from engineering and development, US manufacturing, and great warranty service, Trek has always been outstanding! Thanks again BW1!
