I doubt it would be possible to pedal over one of the worst highways in the US. I live downtown Santa Cruz and that highway has become a crowded and very busy nightmare (usually with daily accidents). Sorry to mess up the idea using a bike trailer. Best of luck, but as the 'actor auditioneer' said: "NEXT!!!!"
