were it up to me, i'd spend a bit less money on the headset and maybe the crankset and a bit more on the hubs.
if you're planning on riding brakeless or skidding/skipping a lot, hubs (rear hub, at least), cog and lockring are not someplace i'd skimp.
while CK headsets feel fantastic and have some fetish points, they don't feel _that_ much nicer than a properly installed and adjusted $20 tange levin headset. the additional confidence which comes from having a wheel under your ass that you know can take some abuse and potholes is priceless.
in terms of cranks, going from a sugino 75 to a sugino RD can save you around $100. obviously not as nice and not 144 bcd, but how important is a true track crank to you?
