Would a 0.4" wider tire make a difference?
I though my bike was ready for winter, but after a few rides I'm not exactly satisfied with it. On the packed down part of the road it's fine, but whenever I hit a patch of snow on the side of the road it can be hard to control, and might even bring me to a stop. I currently have cheap 26x1.95 with screws put in the tread for studs. Would going to 26x2.35 make much of a difference? Should I just get one and put it on the front?
