whoa, I've always wanted to try rise bars out...And the've got 6 dollar stems. I may have to grab both as a christmas/cheap parts to complete my new build buy.
Really? Do you need a shim that badly? My stem looks like it has enough room to clamp down a bit harder to make that small of a change probably work.
