Thanks for the responses.....just a point of clairification.....the Computrainer system is way more of a commitment than a single roller in the garage. It is a row of serious cyclists with a screen that displays current speed, avg speed, watts, watts/kgs of weight, heartrate, % of current incline or decline and your own icon that travels across a 20-40 mile course with 7 other cyclists. You can draft, all the psychology of high performance street riding is there in spades. It has changed the way I ride and what a way to hit the Springtime already in top shape!
I guess my mistake was to think this system was more in use than it really is. It's not "spinning at the local spa", it's a whole different level of "virtual cycling" and I strongly recommend seeing if there is a bike shop in your area that has the system! Also ask about the system that has the pedal stroke analyzer....another amazing way of improving your abilities! Doyle
