I'm color blind and less picky on aesthetics than most here, but I think that would look amazing.
While I am definitely not a graphic artist, I have a background in web design and I'm pretty good with color combinations...this coming from the guy who buys nothing but black cars with tan interiors
So the trend I'm seeing here (and these are generalizations as I am applying them to my needs) is:
* Seat tube panel is a given
* Head tube contrasting OR downtube panel, but not both
* Panel can be either symmetrical (i.e. positioned in relation to the tube) or asymmetrical (i.e. not necessarily centered on the tube) but is generally the width of the logo, give or take.
