Fitting is not something that is easy to do on yourself, even people who do fittings sometimes have someone else check their fit. Make shure when you pick someone to do your fitting they take into account your flexiability. Someone who can't even touch their toes without bowing their back will have a much different fit than someone that can almost palm the ground. Also someone who does a lot of climbing will be a little different than someone that rides a lot of flats. Fitting is not an exact science so after your fit you may want to tweak it a little on your owne. Once you get the bike right make shure you record seat height, seat fore and aft (use a plum bob off the tip of the seat and measure the distance from string to bottem bracket spindle), seat tip to bars, seat tip to brake lever on road or center of grip for mountian, and drop or rise of bar ( use a long level and ruler). With these measurements you shoud be able to transfer the fit to any bike.
