Austin would be considered conservative where I grew up. When a 6'10" African American transvestite roller skates by a guy selling Nation of Islam newsletter on his way to the medical pot clinic where he'll buy from a guy with nipple (and other stuff) piercings wearing nothing but leather chaps next to the People's Worker bookstore, they'll be on their way to weird.
