In the cold weather like you were riding in this is what I use as one of my layers...works for snow as well. For warmer temps I use a visor. An adjustable wrap around works real well, though I can see using one of the plastic types working, too. Just never tried one. Full coverage fenders is an absolute must as Raceblades or something like them allows for a 'rooster tail' off the front tire which will spray your glasses, too. Oh, and Rain-X helps a little as well.

41*F and 20 mph headwind? Nice.
