The hubs will be Ultegra 6500 9-speed, also proper at the time. For the miniscule (if any) performance difference in the 7700 hubs I can't justify the price the 7700 hubs go for in an acceptable condition.

Besides, according to Shimano specs, the 6500 hubset is 30g lighter than the 7700 hubset

I'm leaning towards the Mavic Reflex...I agree with GeraldChan, MSW would be a nice addition, and still work time-wise.

There's a pair with the ceramic coating on the brake surfaces on eBay right now...HHHhhhmmmmm

EDIT: Mach 2's with ceramic coating...
