I just sold one of these. I bought it last year and had converted it into a pretty solid single speed. It's got some good things going for it but It's a pretty low end bike with steel wheels/bars and stem shifters. The tubes are mangalite with hi-ten forks and rear stays. The Shimano side-pull brakes work fine and I think they're better than the dia compe center-pulls found on comparable bikes. Throw some alloy wheels/bars on it and you'll have a nice rider. Otherwise, if you have another geared bike I think it would make a great candidate for a single-speed or fixie.
