There is always Plan B!

Well today was Super Bowl Sunday.... Which to me means..... Well, grab the snow board and hit the slopes! There was only a slight problem. I checked the road conditions and all was open off we go. We get to the bottom of Berthoud Pass and we are greeted by the local police and a barrier reading pass closed. DANGIT DANGIT DANGIT.. And they have 9.5" of fresh powder. We thought about go around the long way but traffic was SLOOOOOOWWW. So we headed back, took a scenic cruise, and had a sit down meal. and went for a hike in the wonderful fluffy snow. Didn't bring a tape with me but I would guess we hiked from 6" - 13". AWESOME! Then came home to watch a couple older but still great movies. Yet there was more. capped off the day with a small ride on the cruiser bike. I love coaster brakes on snow and ice!

At the bottom of the Pass (No moving here)

Some of the hike!

The evening ride!
