This winter I decided to switch to disc brakes, Got some avid bb7s and a new wheelset, however I have a gary fisher and you need a kit to install the rear brake. They've been out of stock for a few months so I emailed asking if they had any idea when they would be back in stock. I got this reply.

Part number 85855 is out of stock, here are the separate part numbers
that make up the kit, these are available.
210648 1 Rear Disc Adaptor
211045 1 Bolt M4
210821 2 Bolt M5
Anybody have any clue why the would be out of the kit but have everypart that makes it up?
