It's windy as heck. And flat. Are you in Denver now, or are you also considering Denver? It's only a few hours to drive there from Denver, you could check it out. On the way, check out Fort Collins/Loveland for more reasonably priced smaller cities with lots to offer and fantastic & varied cycling, with big cycling scenes. The Denver/Boulder (& towns in between) cycling scene is unreal.
