I don't know if he's cranky... always filled my orders. BTW, not sure anyone else still has them.
He is located not more than 25 miles over a few high hills from me. Every time I called to arrange a visit, throw some work his way, and possibly buy some of his stock, he acted as if he didn't want to be bothered. After the third try, I decided it was not worth my effort.
It's a shame, because he does carry some very nice products, and the drive is easy from where I live.
