And very glad about the good Samaritan. My experience has been that, when I've needed one, one showed up. For all the complaining we do about drivers (some of it even justified), I think that the vast majority of folks will, in fact, rise to the occasion when help is truly needed. It's just that the kind of person you encountered rarely makes the headlines and we all start getting a little jaded.

Thanks for reminding us that our fellow man can be, and often is, pretty cool.

And get better soon - but don't push it too hard. Trying to come back too soon far too often makes for an even longer time off the bike. Tailwinds.
