There's a old man in my town who sells used bike for fair $$$

I saw him yesterday and he had a older, 70's Schwinn with the original: Generator with lights, 10 speed gears, rear rack and everything was original, except the tires and tubes. He wanted $150 for the beauty. I want to buy it, but then why would I need it? He wanted it also, he had the same problem I did.

That's a nice bike, but then it could be sold in Walmart and the parts and quality wouldn't be up to par with a good name brand bike.

For people who are wondering for a good commuter/all around, go to craigslist in your area and watch for a hardtail mountain bike and use that. Unless your like me who travels 13 miles to town around town and back, I have a customized road bike to suit me for that. i've probably spent around $300 for an older 10 speed, rack with some custom working, good tires set up, and panniers
