That's exactly how I reattached the head badge of my '96 LS Catalyst. Acetone wash the back of the badge and the headtube of the bike and use a couple of drops of superglue. That was about 5 years ago and it's still nice and tight.

I notice newer LS frames have the badge attached with a couple of tiny bolts or rivets. Apparently loose ones were a common problem on the older bikes.
Mine held for 10 years.
