There are people selling disc covers, but they're small shops, like
fixcraft. A good reusable system other than zipties (which you have to destroy to remove) would be welcome, but as mentioned, I really doubt there's not much market for them.
Taking off the discs is helpful, like when you've got 3 polo bikes on a car rack and want people to see your taillights.
