Today is a rest day. My wife is driving up this morning to visit. I'll be heading back out tomorrow morning for a shorter, flatter return home.

Lessons learned:
  • Don't overpack
  • Limit myself to 60 - 80 miles per day
  • Consider using the 'bent on tours, my B-17 feels like a rock on the 2nd day.

I'm having a lot of fun. I stop at small random restaurants. I'm eating as much as I want with no guilt.

My legs only hurt a little. My butt and back are worse. Sleeping is easy after a full day in the saddle.

I've posted Saturday's portion of the trip on my blog (link in the footer) with pictures and a GPS track.
I'm jealous. I wanna be you when I grow up. :-)
