I'm curious, has anyone here actually got a frameset packed in a box that was under the usps required max dimension. I cut my boxes down so the frame fits with just enough room for packing materials. But I have yet to get one under the USPS max dimesion, so I end up going fedex because usps is never even a option.
It depends on the size of the frame, of course, but I've had framesets come to me via USPS priority mail. Fork was pulled, frameset was no bigger than 58cm seat tube (c-t), iirc.
