Valve stem rattle
I have a rattle that is not bad only I ran hear it wondered if anyone has experienced this? My bike is quiet and perfect on smooth road but on the chip seal when it is not as smooth I hear this rattle. I have an immortal spirit with richey pro wheels. They are dead true nothing else seems make the same sound. I wonder the tube has a floating valve stem not like the others I have that come with a nut to pull the stem tight on the rim. I can tell there is a small amount of play between the stem and the rim that I suspect could cause this to happen. I can bounce the bike and shake it all around but only going over the not so smooth pavement duplicates the sound. Now I could just swap a new tube but before I do thought I would run this by the group.
