I have done the CCP100 3 times now and I am signed up this year for number 4. I have also done a bunch of other endurance races. Focus on nutrition - test several different combinations during training. When you find what works, stick with it. Whatever you do - do not try anything new on race day - nutrition or equipment wise. My 16 yo son will be racing with me as well this year - we have already started training, but he has a long way to go.
