That is what I eventually want to work up to, but this will be my first time going further than the 3-mile radius around my house and I'm hesitant to immediately tackle 9+ miles in the middle of the Houston summer. Commuting half by bike, half by bus/rail seems like a good way to start. What route did you take to get to UH from Gessner?
