That's actually not a
Zerk (grease gun) fitting - it's a fancy lubricator (oil cap) with a spring loaded ball stopper. Most of the hubs had the S545 metal or HSA106
plastic oil caps.
it is working OK...
Any chance you could just leave it alone and not muck with it beyond adding a couple drops of fresh oil?
