CAN YOU USE AN ULTEGRA "10 SPEED" DERAILLEUR ON AN 8-SPEED CASSETTE?
just curious....using friction shifting now, but who knows, might change to indexed. i dunno. dunno if that matters. basically have a bottom barrel shimano rear derailleur on bike now, thinking of buying a cheapo used ultegra derailleur off ebay, but allot of them are labelled as 10 speed.
