I've fallen off a few times. The pavement is not that hard, apparently. You'd think I'd become more and more wary, but I just keep hitting the ground and finding concrete and asphalt are pretty soft. The big problem was yesterday, because I left my shoe/lock on the ground when I fell off and had to go back home to fetch it, a block away from my apartment. I called out of work. Should have just come in an hour or two late, take some leisure.
