-Yes.
-Your second and third questions are almost the same, for me anyway. If your legs are sore make the next day's ride one where effort is low and cadence is high, or just higher than normal. If you're very sore or the level of soreness hasn't diminished take a day or two off the bike.
-We're all different, but at some point you won't be sore unless you're purposely pushing yourself.
As a side note, yesterday my last leg of the ride was into a 30ish MPH headwind. I was aggrevated because I had items that were semi scheduled following the ride and I was running behind. Instead of a little cool down time on the bike I just parked it and went on with my day. Today I've a sore neck, shoulders and thighs. Thighs I can understand, neck and shoulders probably because I'd become aggrevated and was probably gripping the bars too tightly... I'll ride tomorrow.
