From some of the information I have you need to look at the head badge. If there are 4 digits on the badge that is your date code. First 3 are days of the year (250th day), Last # is the year of the decade. So 2508 is the 250th day of 78' or 88' or 98'. If someone knows I have this screwed up let me know, I know Schwinn has a lot of different ways of marking there bikes.
