We use it on our road and mountain bikes for approx. three years and have never had a problem. We will use no other chain lube. We use Super Links on all of our chains so they are easy to remove and de-grease. I remove and clean on a regular basis. Never had a rust problem but we do run Campy chains with plated outer links.
