The ALAN Super Record... Finished!

After 6 months gathering parts, rebuilding deraillers, waiting on shipments, being broke... The ALAN is finished! just a few pics as a preview, I might do a more elaborate photoshoot when I find the time. The frame was in quite scratched condition, so this is no show bike! I intend to ride it a lot as my sunny weather, sunday ride machine.

So here's the build list:
Frame+fork ALAN Super Record 1980 size 56 c/t
Headset Campagnolo Super Record (alloy)
Bottom Bracket Campagnolo Record
Cranks Campagnolo Super Record 52/42
Pedals Campagnolo record, cristophe clips
Front Derailler Campagnolo Super Record 1983
Rear Derailer Campagnolo Super Record 1983
Brakes Campagnolo Gran Sport (needed ones with non-recessed bolts, so no SR brakes...)
Brake levers Campagnolo Super Record (lever hoods NOS 80's replacements)
Hubs Campagnolo Record low flange
Mavic tubular rims, can't tell which
some very ancient tubulars, will be swapped out later (but ride ok)
Seat post Campagnolo in 25 mm (ALAN+Vitus special)
Seatpost binder and cable clips also Campy (paid a lot for such small pieces )
Stem Cinelli 1a 10 mm
Handlebars Cinelli Giro d'Italia 64/40
Tape Pelten iscaselle shade

The hardest part was probably getting the shade tape to match on both ends of the bars... 3 hours well spent. The ride is superb and a quick steering course around town really showed the superb handling of this bike... it corners with so much confidence! The comfort is also quite good, maybe in part due to the big cushy saddle, but it handled the small secteur pavé in my town with ease! I can't wait to take it for a big ride, but due to other obligations that has to wait a few days.
