It would be more economical and make the most sense to buy a cheap rear wheel already built with a flip flop hub. I could get you a 27" rear wheel with a generic track hub and a 16t cog/lockring for around 50 bucks (which means your lbs can too). The chain you use really depends on whether the cog you'll be using is 3/16" or 1/8".
