I wasn't trying to start a "popularity" contest about bicycle parts companies, I just wanted to know if anyone has received a battery through the recall process. Like most consumer activities that involve the Internet and or mailing or shipping processes - I'm one of those people who always expects problems.
Having consumers discard working batteries without assurance of a time-frame for replacement can result in internet message boards containing threads like this. It's no different than massive longer-term rebate programs or automotive safety recalls. People talk about the situation.
